In December 2016, I became the first graduate of UGA’s Odum School of Ecology A.B. program. I also completed a minor in anthropology. Prior to that, I earned my A.S. in Biology from Red Rocks Community College. During my last college semester, I held three internships in addition to my classes: Odum Communications Intern, Primate Behavior and Cognition Laboratory Undergraduate Research Assistant, and an ecology internship working with the Georgia Museum of Natural History. I currently work as a temporary keeper, caring for ringtailed lemurs and other animals on St. Catherines Island, Georgia. Recently, I accepted an IEEE Earthzine writing fellowship.
